Session fee

£65 for a 50-minute therapeutic “hour” for in-person sessions across North Cumbria and online sessions via Zoom.

Sessions are usually weekly or fortnightly. I offer flexibility on frequency and length of sessions where possible. We can discuss what might work best for you.

Concessionary rate

I offer a limited number of concessionary spaces at £35 for:

• student counsellors, and

• clients in receipt of means-tested benefits

Concessionary spaces are limited and offered subject to availability. If you think you may be eligible, please mention this when you get in touch.

Free initial call

The first step is a free 15-minute phone call. This is a chance to briefly outline what you are looking for, ask any questions, and get a sense of whether working together feels like the right fit.

Payment

Payment is due at least 48 hours in advance of each session. I will confirm payment details when we arrange a first appointment. You can pay by BACS, card payment or in cash.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice are usually charged at the full session fee, as the time cannot easily be offered to someone else.

A note on choosing the right support

I work with adults (18+). If I think you would be better supported by a different type of service or specialist input, I will say so clearly and help you consider alternatives.
